The Bike Peddler has a new look. With our new store the Bike Peddler has been reborn as the new MTB headquarters in Santa Rosa. The Peddler was the first shop outside of Marin County to sell production mountain bikes and we're returning to our roots!

For 40 years, the Bike Peddler has been your neighborhood bike shop. Mountain bikes from Specialized, Santa Cruz, Marin, and Niner. Cruisers, hybrids, and city bikes from Electra, Schwinn, Globe, and Swobo. Bmx from Fit, FBM, DK, and Kink. Kid's bikes of all sizes from 12"-24" wheels.

Employee Spotlight

Abe Driedger SERVICE Abe has been with us since 1976! A native of Canada, Abe has 3 kids and 2 grandkids. He's looking forward to his 40th wedding anniversary. Our resident vintage bike expert, Abe has seen and done it all. Of course, Abe loves hockey. You'll find him competing in Snoopy's senior hockey tournaments regularly. He loves Muscle Milk!

Steve Kaiser MECHANIC I started working on bikes at my Dad's hardware store in 1963 which later became Kaiser's Sports.  In 1975 I went to work at the Bike Peddler and in 2003 transferred to NorCal Bike Sport.  I was past president of the Santa Rosa Cycling Club and led the effort to put on criterium races in downtown Santa Rosa in the early 1970's.  I raced as a junior but wasn't very good at it.  I did ride the Davis double century twice, the Mt. Lassen double century twice and the Terrible Two twice.  My longest one day ride was 377 miles (24 hours). I've probably fixed around 20,000 flats in my lifetime!

Matt Wolfinger BUYING AND WARRANTIES Matt has been with us about 2 years. He has a degree in Meteorology from Penn St. Currently pursuing another degree in Computer Science. Matt loves hockey too and you will find him comparing game notes with Abe!

Paul Fein SALES Paul has been here for over 2 years now. He's attending Sonoma State University obtaining a degree in Kinesiology. He commutes regularly to and from the shop and around town. Paul recently spent 3 months in Central America for Spanish language immersion.

Martin Patino SERVICE Martin is Jose's brother! While Martin has only been with us for 6 months, he's already an accomplished bike builder. Martin loves futbol(soccer to us) and going to the gym when he's not working.

Chris Wells SERVICE Chris is our veteran sales professional for over 8 years now. A 29er enthusiast, Chris can get you on the right bike for you. Chris apprentices at Sycip cycles one day a week. He attained a degree in art history and sculpture from the University of Illinois Chicago. A talented artist, you'll see t-shirt designs by him, and the occasional piece in a gallery. Chris also runs the Weds. night dirt crits for the Bike Peddler.

Kevin Pilar SERVICE Kevin is a senior at Cardinal Newman High School. In just 5 short months, Kevin has developed into a fine bike assembler. He's even tackled many small repairs. Always eager to learn new things, Kevin is extremely helpful to our mechanics. He's mostly into downhill mountain biking, but is quickly learning to enjoy other forms of riding.
